James P. Cole, M.D.

James P. Cole, M.D., age 84, of Mt. Prospect. Beloved husband of Ann Cole for 55 years. Loving father of Dr. James (Michele) Cole, David (Lorelei) Cole, John (Kathleen) Cole, Catherine (Chris) Kerner. Devoted grandfather of 13, and 3 great grandsons. Dear brother of Bill (Adelaide) Cole, and Bernadette Cole. Fond uncle of many.

Jim was a graduate of Fenwick High School and the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University. He was board certified in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Jim practiced medicine for 50 years and was on staff at Northwest Community Hospital, Alexian Brothers Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital. He was Chief of Medicine at Northwest Community Hospital in 1978-1979. He touched many lives and will be missed by his family, friends, and patients.

Visitation Friday, 3:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Highway, Mt. Prospect.

Visitation Saturday, 12:00 P.M. until time of Funeral Mass at 1:00 P.M. at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt. 83) at Lincoln St. Mt. Prospect.

Interment private.
